Infection Control in Fulham

That’s why we follow the Department of Health’s HTM 01-05 guidance – the national gold standard for infection prevention and decontamination in dental practices. This means every instrument is cleaned and sterilised to hospital-grade standards, and our surgery is kept safe and hygienic at all times.

• All instruments are either single-use or sterilised to hospital-grade standards after every patient.
• Treatment rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each appointment.
• Protective measures such as gloves, masks and barrier coverings are used consistently.
• Regular monitoring and strict record-keeping ensure our standards remain high at all times.

These measures may happen behind the scenes, but they are an essential part of how we work. They allow us to provide safe, hygienic care in a comfortable environment – giving you complete confidence every time you visit. Every patient has to be confident when they walk into NHS Dentist that the surgery and instruments are spotless.

We have been awarded the GOLD STANDARD by the infection Control Team for the Inner Cluster (Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster) and we were the first practice to be awarded the GOLD STANDARD in Hammersmith and Fulham Primary Care Trust area.
